Yeah.. you’re right. Xiao Yan always gets his a$$ saved last minute. LOL!! It’s so damn predictable reading the novel but it’s also less confusing and the plots are easy to follow. BTTH is light-reading - best for some light enjoyment.

Meanwhile, PW is for those who love heavy fighting and intricate storylines. I actually had to read PW a few times in order to understand its convoluted plots hidden beneath its repetitive fluffs.

I see that you like Tang San. My fav is also TS. He’s the smartest MC I’ve read but unfortunately he’s also a mega simp. By comparison, SH is like a million times stronger than TS. In terms of character and personality, the imperfect SH is so much more interesting than the perfect TS.

So yeah.. despite some fluctuating qualities in the recent episodes, PW is still one of my favourite donghuas.

Wonder why SH actual cultivation realm is so slow, only late stage venerable realm. I get that he is about to compete with monsters that deliberately bottle neck their cultivation realm at venerable realm so he has to do the same. But he is advancing so slow and not at cap yet.

iirc you cannot compete in the battle of 3000 geniuses above the venerable realm. Maybe we will see a faster advancing after that but I didn't read perfect world it's just speculating.

Not everyone will agree brav, we all have different taste. However if you don’t see the difference between the first few seasons and now, then, I guess anything with a few fighting scenes will tickle your fancy.

we just have different tastes, and different tolerance level is all.

PW is plot driven, very different from other donghuas who focus on their characters instead. The novel is aimed at male readers, hence it’s male-centric and action-heavy.

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but if you’re patient enough to stick with it till the end, you’ll realise SH is such an indelible character, so much more interesting than the majority of the Mary Sue/Gary Stu MCs out there.

I guess you didn’t really understood where I’m coming from… So ima try to break it down a bit. Im comparing now to when it just started. The first season was very good, engaging and the plot was good, after he became emperor, the plot was all over the place, now that he’s in the upper realm, it’s ok but not as good as it was in the beginning.
